I have been doing a variety of paper airplane presentations

scouting events, paper airplane contests, workshops, motivational speaking to teachers and corporations, aviations groups and much

opportunity to enlighten people on a gift that I was able to
develop my childhood love and hobby into my profession. With
this I am able to speak with a lot of children and adults through
my books, web page, and presentations and hopefully bring fun and
enjoyment in learning the principles of flight and the benefit of persistence and
drive. The following are just a small list of
events I have done recently:
- Cross Country Book Tour & Workshop to promote forth book
- TIE - Missouri Teachers Workshop
- Oshkosh EAA Museum Paper Airplane Weekend
- EAA Air Venture Forum Presentations
- Langenthal Switzerland Design Center Guest Speaker
- Shreveport Louisiana Science Center

Program

Some of my presentations are through Boeing Community
Relations, who coordinate my time during working hours. This is
usually school presentations in the St. Louis and surrounding
area. To schedule a Boeing sponsored event please contact Boeing
Community Relations at 314-xxx-xxxx.
Some of my time is donated to non profit organizations in the
St. Louis area. Contact me at my email address to schedule an
available date.
For events out of the area I require travel expenses along
with a honorarium. Please contact me directly at my email address
to discuss the details.
PRESENTATION CONTENT:
I can structure my presentation to emphasize or explain the fundamentals of flight, my career as an engineer at Boeing,
benefits of persistence and hard work. A typical presentation
includes the following:
- How I became involved with paper airplanes as a youth
- How I set the Guinness World Record (I have a 5 minute CNN
video tape showing my setting the
World Record in the Georgia
Dome)
- An explanation of the fundamentals of flight using paper
airplanes
- I lead the audience through the construction of the World
Record Paper Airplane. (followed by a small contest)
Presentations can last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, with
most presentations lasting about 45 minutes. I have view graphs
and PowerPoint presentations available as well as educational
handouts and World Record Paper Airplane plans. Workshops and
contests can become all day or weekend events.
